Oh Cybill… I’m disappointed you didn’t mention your cotton candy pink hair in your post answers anywhere! Tisk, tisk…. could it be you’ve gone au naturale? My grey begs to see the light of day, and is quickly hushed by the gentle, calming mousy brown tones I drown it with.

Theme songs for weddings. I didn’t really imagine you in that catagory, somehow. If I were to have had a defining song, mine would have had to have been, “Eve of Destruction” I suppose. Sorry to say mine didn’t work out, but I do enjoy the last bit of cake myself…

Did you have “Perry Mason” there, on t.v., as a child? I hope so. All black and white, and early 50’s. He was a burly lawyer who drove a black convertible Cadillac with fins… While you are trapped in the 30’s and 40’s, I’m with “Perry” riding around town, hair (mousy brown) blowing in the wind!

Hi Gervy, Songs can take one back to a time and place like nothing else quite does (except maybe smell or is that just me). No regrets, remember - just different types of experiences! or stop listening to those songs.

Gervy, there is no such thing in my life as enough compliments. I hadn’t thought of it as strawberry blonde, now that sounds a bit glamorous.

It’s funny how you can be going on quite happily and then a song just knocks you for six. Some songs just overwhelm me with nostalgia and regret. I’m trying to think of a good example but the only thing that’s springing to mind is the “Boys of Summer” by Don Henley which doesn’t really do it for me…
